On Thursday, February 26, 2026, the Jacksonville Women’s Network (JWN) proudly hosted our Annual Speaker’s Forum at the Florida Blue Conference Center—an unforgettable evening dedicated to shining a light on the critical issue of human trafficking hidden in plain sight across Northeast Florida.
We were honored to welcome Demi-Leigh Tebow—best-selling author, entrepreneur, and former Miss Universe (2017)—for a powerful and deeply personal conversation. Her message, rooted in both lived experience and global advocacy, brought urgency and compassion to the forefront, while highlighting the meaningful work being done locally through partnerships with the Northeast Florida INTERCEPT Task Force and Her Song.
A defining element of the evening was the powerful presence of our Community Changemakers—local leaders and advocates working on the front lines of prevention, intervention, and survivor support. Through their voices, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the realities facing our community, as well as the collaborative efforts underway to create meaningful, lasting change. Their insights grounded the conversation in local impact and reminded us that solutions begin right here at home.
As JWN’s most anticipated event of the year—and the only one open to the public—the Annual Speaker’s Forum brought together members, honored guests, and community leaders from across the region for an unforgettable evening of connection, insight, and purpose. From a vibrant reception to a powerful keynote conversation, the night sparked meaningful dialogue, deepened understanding, and inspired collective action around the urgent issue of human trafficking in Northeast Florida.
We are deeply grateful to all who joined us and continue to help shine a light on this critical cause—until next year, North Florida!
